The benefits of the drug include its harmlessness, rare side effects and the possibility of use even in newborns. However, there are also negative reviews, in which they complain about the lack of results from the intake or too weak effect. In addition, one of the drawbacks of the drug is its high cost.

Doctors also speak about Dormikinda in different ways. Some experts often write it out for babies and note a positive effect on sleep. Other physicians, among whom is the famous pediatrician Komarovsky, doubt the effectiveness of any homeopathic remedies and do not advise giving such tablets to children.

One of the analogues of "Dormikind" is a solution "Passidorm". This is also a homeopathic drug, which has a hypnotic effect. It includes passionflower, hop, metallic zinc and escholcium. Thanks to these ingredients, the tool helps to get rid of the problems with falling asleep and frequent awakenings at night. However, since ethyl alcohol acts as an auxiliary component (its total content in the solution is 64 percent by volume), Passidorm is not used in patients younger than 12 years old.

It can be replaced by another homeopathic remedy from the well-known company "Heel", which is called "Valerianachel". In addition to valerian, such drops also contain hawthorn, chamomile, lemon balm, hops, picric acid, kalium bromatum and some other components. The product contains ethanol, but in smaller quantities than “Passidorm”, therefore it is allowed from the age of 6, and sometimes prescribed to younger children, for example, at 2 or 3 years. It calms the child, normalizes his sleep and has a beneficial effect on the state of the nervous system.

Instead of “Dormikind”, a doctor may recommend herbal remedies for sleep disorders, such as Passifit syrup or drops.Nott". Supplements are also in high demand, among which it is worth noting the drops called “Bai-bai”. They include extracts of peony, oregano, mint, hawthorn, and motherwort, and glutamic acid. Such components have a sedative and tonic effect, as well as a positive effect on the work of the central nervous system, the digestive system and other organs.

Another analogue, which has a beneficial effect on the nervous system and, in particular, at night's sleep, stands "Glycine". Such sweet tablets should be kept in the mouth until dissolved, as is Dormikind. In addition, they can also be applied from birth.
