Operating principle

Once in the brain, the active component of the syrup inhibits an enzyme called GABA-transferase. The result of this effect is an increase in the level of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the central nervous system cells.

Since this acid interferes with the spread of nerve impulses and acts as the main inhibitory mediator, the use of Konvuleks affects the development of seizures, reducing seizure activity and preventing seizures.

In addition, syrup treatment has a positive effect on the mood and mental state of patients. The drug also noted antiarrhythmic effect.
