12-year-old boy in Peru became minister

12-year-old Jesus Mamani Ramos from Peru received the post of Minister of Development and Social Integration. The boy was entrusted with such responsible work for just one day.

A new social program has been launched in the country, in which the poor people in the country have the opportunity to receive various services and opportunities in education and health care.

Before Christmas, it was announced that officials would fulfill the Christmas wishes of children from poor families. A boy named Jesus Ramos wrote a letter in which he wished to become useful to society and help all children who, by the will of fate, found themselves with a difficult life situation.

The current Minister of Development and Social Integration, Liliana La Rosa, responded to the boy’s wish. She simply invited the child to work, gave up her office and gave her the opportunity to make some decisions that should improve the quality of life for needy Peruvians.

Before starting work, the teenager had to take an oath. The ceremony was held in a solemn atmosphere in the presence of Jesus' parents, as well as other children who participated in this social program.

A similar social project is being implemented in Russia. In December, the volunteer project “Dream with me” was launched, one of the volunteers of which was President Vladimir Putin. Over the last month of last year, Putin fulfilled the desires of five seriously ill children.
