Rejoice in life: a 16-year-old girl turned her disability into a way to please others

American Haley Gardner from Iowa from birth has an underdeveloped hand - on one of her limbs there are no hands and fingers at all.

Doctors say that the cause is the amniotic syndrome, in which the cords appear inside the fetal membrane during pregnancy. Because of them, the fingers on one hand could not develop.

Instead of falling into depression due to external ugliness, the American schoolgirl decided to use her anomaly to teach others how to rejoice. She herself became a blogger, and called the unfinished hand Fred.

Now funny and touching Fred tells instructive and informative stories from his own person to millions of subscribers. They are all filled joy and optimism.

Now Fred has almost twice as many fans and subscribers on the Internet than Hayley herself, and he had to make a separate page.

The girl with her creativity encourages people to more adequately perceive people with disabilities, to be more tolerant to them. Amazing optimism, self-irony and positive girls have already become role models for many people with disabilities.
