An American woman who is in a coma for 10 years became pregnant and gave birth to a child
In the American city of Phoenix (Arizona) an unusual baby was born. More precisely, the baby is just the most ordinary, but the circumstances of his birth raise many questions.
The woman who has been in a coma for 10 years and does not come to herself has become the mother of the baby. The patient is located at the Hacienda Clinic. About 10 years ago she had an accident - a woman almost drowned. She was saved, but she hasn’t come to herself ever since.
On the eve of New Year's Day, December 29, the doctors of the clinic had to give birth to her.
The baby appeared in a natural way, the pediatricians did not establish any abnormalities and pathologies in it, the baby is completely healthy. All the time of labor the woman remained in a state of coma.
The case interested the police officers who filed a rape case, because the patient herself clearly could not take part in the conception of the baby because of her coma.
It is noteworthy that the doctors and nurses of the clinic had no idea that their unconscious recumbent was pregnant. The fact became known when the birth began.
Now, only female medical personnel have the right to enter the wards where patients are in a state of coma, and if a man - doctor comes in, the rules now oblige him to do so exclusively in the presence of female colleagues. All men are under suspicion of policemen - employees of the clinic: from doctors to orderlies and drivers.
The fate of the newborn also remains unclear. It is known that relatives of a woman lying in a coma refused to take the child to be raised. Temporarily the baby will be in the care of the state.
Doctors insist on bringing the crumbs to their unconscious mother - medicine knows cases when newborns taken their mothers out of coma. If the condition of the new mother does not change, then for the crumbs they will start looking for a foster family.
