Business from the cradle: American children traded lemonade and saved up for an apartment

Regular children with unusual entrepreneurial abilities are reported in American media. David, who is only 10 years old, and his brother Zach, who is 12 years old, earned a fortune by selling lemonade.

The boys organized a stall selling homemade lemonade in their native Houston. At the time of opening a small business one brother was five years old, and another - 3 years.

Lemonade for sale was first made by their mother, but gradually the brothers themselves mastered a simple culinary technology.

At first, it all seemed just a fun game of adulthood, and the parents did not interfere with the children. Gradually, David and Zack Tanner began earning tens of dollars a day, and then hundreds.

Peers began to envy, neighbors and parents of yesterday's friends began to write complaints to the police about the garbage, which, allegedly, the brothers leave after a hard day's work.

But neither numerous checks, nor conversations with policemen revealed any violations.

When the boys had accumulated quite a substantial amount, they decided to use the money wisely, taking an example from their father-investor. They first bought shares of different companies, and then sold them and bought a large apartment in a cooperative that builds houses for 450 apartments each.

Now the guys have their own housing.

But on this they do not intend to stop - the boys decided to earn money and buy another apartment - for their parentsbecause they believe that the one in which the family lives today is too small.
