American scientists have created a cure for premature infant death

On the basis of the Cincinnati Children's Cardiology Institute, American scientists have developed a unique medicine that is designed to protect children from premature death.

The drug, according to the first results of the first laboratory tests, effectively reduces the risk of recurrent heart attacks and significantly prolongs the life of children with various forms congenital heart defects.

The drug is based on synthesized by the Americans. pUR4 protein.

In the human body, it is on this protein that the “protective” functions of protecting the heart muscle and the structural cells of the heart are assigned.

So far, scientists are only at the very start of the great discovery. About their future plans reports MedicalXpress.

Already this week, testing of the drug in laboratory mice will begin, and then, if everything goes well, the new drug will be tested on cattle.

And only after providing irrefutable evidence of the absence of toxicity and unforeseen side effects, will scientists be given permission for clinical trials of a new drug in public.

It is assumed that a new drug will help save hundreds of thousands of children's lives.
