Twins, conceived on the same day, were born with a difference of 15 years

In the US, three pairs of twins who were conceived in one day, were born with a difference of one and a half decades. An amazing story today told reporters New York Post.

15-year-olds Alex and Kurt Johnson met their brothers and sisters. A pair of twins Matthias and James was born a year ago. And now their younger sisters, Elianna and Alice, were born. All pairs of twins were born in different families.

Biological mother of all six children, Mary Johnson, did IVF 16 years ago. Many high quality embryos were obtained in that treatment cycle. Two were hooked to her herself - the older twins appeared. Another 12 embryos were frozen for the future.

But seven years ago, when a woman went to an IVF clinic, the doctors refused her - the woman’s health condition does not allow her to give birth anymore.

The question was what to do with cryopreserved embryos. The woman decided to donate them to the National Center for Reproductive Donation in Tennessee, but on one condition - she will be allowed to see all the children who are born.

Mary's kids have already been used twice: two infertile couples she gave parental happiness.

It should be noted that all three families communicate, keep in touch.

The children have already met each other. Next summer, all three families are planning to have a joint vacation and go somewhere to rest with the children.
