A few days ago, images appeared on the Internet, which show that the five-year-old boy, who is lying in the Sakhalin Regional Children's Hospital, tied up and wrapped in a sheet. Eyewitnesses - parents who, together with their children, are treated in hospital, argue that tied up the child of the nurse by order of the head of the department.

In the infectious disease ward of the regional children's hospital, where everything happened, it is claimed that the boy was not connected at all because he was in the way, but because he could hurt himself. According to the doctors, a child from a dysfunctional family came to treatment last year.

He is alone in the hospital, without parents, and besides, according to doctors, There are problems with socialization and mental health.

The region’s health ministry defended the hospital’s medical staff, saying that binding was quite a humane act, and not at all a manifestation of cruelty.

Sometimes the child really had to be tied so that he would not harm himself and other children, since the boy had been quite aggressive.

In the Investigation Committee, however, what was said by the officials questioned and had already begun a large-scale independent verification. If the fact of ill-treatment of a small patient is confirmed, a criminal case will be initiated against the medical staff.
