Santa Claus began to receive letters from children and told what gifts they ask

Today, Russian post offices have begun to provide services for sending letters to Santa Claus. In the regions, special mailboxes are opened, where any child and adult can drop their message to the main winter wizard.

Every year, Russian Santa Claus receives over half a million letters and the same number of e-mails. Over the past 17 years, he has received over 3.5 million messages from children.

In the residence of the grandfather in Veliky Ustyug there is a special room in which all the letters that come here are stored.

But the pre-Christmas mood is already in the air and many began to write messages to Santa Claus, not waiting for December 4, some have already sent letters in November. It is noteworthy that this year a lot of letters have already come not only from children, but also from adults.

The letters are parsed by the employees of the Santa Claus Post and referred to it for review. They note that messages every year are becoming increasingly impracticable: if earlier kids asked for dolls, bicycles, kittens or jeans, now requests have grown.

They ask not only the “iPhone” of the latest model, but also a real aircraft. And some rational guys in their 7-8 years even indicate the address of the store, in which they saw the thing they liked.

According to the analysis of the first letters already received at the residence, Santa Claus told what children and adults want this year.

Adult women ask for a ticket to the sea, a good job and an apartment in the city center. Men are asked to increase their salaries, upgrade them and the new car. Children are asking for new gadgets (tablets and smartphones), 3D pens, designers, cars and helicopters on the control panel. Skates and skis, balls and other sports equipment are very popular this year. Teens ask for board games - “Mafia” and “Monopoly”, as well as hoverboards.

The most unusual requests this year were written by children: several people asked the winter wizard not about toys for themselves, but about health for mother, brother, and also about peace on the entire planet. The most unusual today is the message of a five-year-old boy from Norilsk. He asked Santa Claus to make him president of Russia in the new year.

Santa Claus continues to receive letters from children at: 162390, Vologda region, the city of Veliky Ustyug, Mail of Santa Claus.

He reminds kids and adults that his do not need to watch over the Christmas tree throughout the New Year's Eveotherwise the magic may not happen.
