The deputy of the British parliament postponed their own childbirth for the sake of voting on Brexit

Labor MP Tulip Siddik, a British MP, said that will not give birth until he participates in the Brexit vote.

Deputies these days have to make an important decision by agreement with the European Union. Not only the fate of Brexit depends on their decision, but also the fate of the whole country and every Briton in the coming years.

Tulip Seddik could not get to the vote if she went to give birth exactly at the time indicated by the doctor.

Due to significant health problems, she was prescribed a planned cesarean section. Despite the insistence of doctors and their warnings that it is dangerous to remain pregnant Tulip, a female parliamentarian decided to postpone the date of delivery for a few days. It is important for her to take part in the final vote.

The usual practice for pregnant parliamentarians or deputies with young children is to find a replacement from among the party members. Sometimes it turns out that two deputies from opposition parties are pregnant at once, and then the replacement is not needed, because the absence of two parliamentarians from different sides does not affect the results of the vote.

Siddick refused all options with the replacement and intends to personally take part in the vote. After him she immediately go to the clinic - doctors will wait for her.
