Vegetarians children: doctors told how a vegan diet kills children

Providing a growing children's body with all the necessary substances is not an easy task. Even in wealthy developed countries, pediatricians state that babies eat irrationally. But in all other countries there is nothing to say.

Children need a lot of nutrients, because their bodies are growing rapidly. Only in the first year the child triples its own weight. Therefore, the trend among parents of vegan infants among pediatricians that is fashionable among parents cannot be found. WHO experts appealed to moms and dads to prudence: A vegetarian diet does not meet the needs of the child’s body; such a child’s diet literally kills.

If adults need a large amount of fiber and a small amount of fat, then for children, fiber, although necessary, does not matter as much as proteins.

WHO urges to make the nutrition of children saturated with proteins, fats, carbohydrates - all this is necessary so that development proceeds normally. Vegetable proteins that vegans refer to when they are reproached for lack of protein are not so helpful, doctors say. Vegetable protein is not animal. Nutritionists and pediatricians suggest not to compare them. Without animal protein, body growth slows down.

Also, vegan children have problems with vitamin security. In particular, surveys have shown that children who are fed only plant foods by parents suffer from vitamin B12 deficiency, as well as iron, calcium, iodine, and zinc. Anemia is a dangerous condition for a baby, which is registered in almost every second baby vegan. Most anemia threatens children under the age of 5 years.

A lack of vitamin B12 is fraught with a decrease in intellectual abilities and even dementia.

Fashion veganism at WHO is considered a big parental mistake.

The basis for the conclusions of experts of the World Health Organization were studies of Dutch scientists. In the Netherlands, found out the main risks of plant foods for the child's body.

Dutch experts have found that the most devastating effects can have vegan food for a child from six months to one and a half years.

In October of this year in Tolyatti, parents-vegans brought the child to dystrophy, and last year the doctors did not manage to save the life of a one-year-old resident of Yekaterinburg, who from birth was made vegan by mother and father.
