Children's benefits for children from one and a half to three years will grow

Childcare allowance for a child who is already one and a half years old but not yet three years old, should be increased.

This was stated by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

Today, this allowance is only 50 rubles per month.

If the mother decided to stay with the child up to 3 years old at home, then after the baby is “knocked out” for 1.5 years, she remains practically without financial assistance at the place of work, since most cash benefits that are more or less satisfactory in size only up to one and a half years.

Since then, the amount of benefits did not change. This needs to be fixed as soon as possible, Medvedev said.

He appealed to the deputies of the State Duma with a request to develop an appropriate bill and adopt it as soon as possible.
