Influenza is sweeping the country - epidemiology is exceeded in dozens of regions
Rospotrebnadzor of Russia warns that the country has significantly deteriorated epidemiological situation with the incidence of influenza and ARVI. On February 21, an increased incidence is registered in 22 regions of the Russian Federation.
In general, the situation is assessed by the department as fairly stable, but experts warn that the most dangerous time in terms of the probability of infection will be in the last week of February.
In 7 areas epidporog exceeded weekly values. The most frequent diseases are detected in children. aged 0 to 2 years. Such cases have been identified in 7 regions. In 15 more regions, the largest number of cases is children from 3-6 years. In the country as a whole, doctors noticed a pattern: most often, influenza and ARVI are infected schoolchildren from 7 to 14 years old, adolescents who are already 15 years old, flu cases are rare.
SARS and influenza are acute viral respiratory diseases, which affect the respiratory tract, there is a high fever and intoxication.
Most of them are not the diseases themselves, but those serious complicationsthat they can lead to are disorders of the nervous system, kidneys, heart, lungs. Deaths are not excluded.
In some regions, selectively quarantine in kindergartens and schools announced. The quarantine map, which lists new children's institutions temporarily closed to the public due to increased morbidity, is updated on the Rospotrebnadzor website every day.
