Famous artist Mikhail Shemyakin is going to make a children's TV project

The famous Russian artist Mikhail Shemyakin planned to launch an educational project for children on television.

The transfer will be dedicated the revival of long forgotten words of the Russian language.

At one time, the writer Alexander Solzhenitsyn was engaged in collecting such words.

According to the artist, modern Russians are rapidly losing the foundations of their native language.

Now 75-year-old Shemyakin works on 49 volumes of Russian folk dialects, which were collected by specialists from the Institute of Linguistic Studies in St. Petersburg.

It is known that the idea has already been supported by the CEO of Channel One. Konstantin Ernst.

He proposed to start making small animated series using the forgotten words of the Russian language in the framework of the Good Morning program. Then, if children like the idea, a separate program can be created in which funny drawn characters will not only speak unfamiliar words, but also demonstrate their meaning.

Mikhail Shemyakin is a bright representative of Russian and world non-conformism.

He was expelled from the art school for the fact that his style of drawing and thinking did not meet the standards of social realism.

He painted only at night, because during the day he was forced to earn a living by working a laborer in the Hermitage.

In 1971, he was expelled from the USSR to France.
