Public opinion: what problems do our children have?

On the eve of Children's Day, experts of the All-Russian Public Opinion Research Center found out what are the problems of childhood Russians are considered the most basic.

Most of the surveyed adult Russians answered that in the first places - alcoholysis and drug addiction, and low standard of living in families with children.

In 2009, when a similar study was conducted, 47% of the adult population of the country expressed concern about childhood and adolescent bad habits. This year, the problem apparently diminished - it was "voted for" 37% of Russians.

But the impoverishment of families is evident - in 2009, 20% of respondents stated such a problem, in this - already 34%.

Third place in the list of current children's problems took education in kindergarten schools.

About 22% of adults surveyed noted its imperfection and sometimes even destructive impact.

About the problem child crime remembered 8% of respondents, whereas in 2009 there were about 31% of these.

To the question who and how can protect children In the modern world, respondents most often answered that parents should do this - 44% of respondents think that way. The state was assigned this task by 32% of respondents.

VTsIOM conducted a survey on May 28-29 among Russians who had reached the age of majority. A total of 2,000 people were interviewed.
