Course back: the plane returned to the airport of departure because of the mother, who had forgotten the child in the terminal
The aircraft, owned by Saudi Arabian Airlines, was forced to return to the airport of departure because one of the passengers of the flight has forgotten in the baby terminal.
The board took off from the airport named after King Abdulaziz in Jeddah, but literally after a quarter of an hour one of the women on board remembered what she had left in the terminal of the infant baby. The passenger flatly refused to continue flying without a baby.
The aircraft commander had to contact the dispatcher on the ground and explain to him the reason for his return.
Fortunately, nothing happened to the baby. He continued to sleep peacefully in a carrying bag in the terminal building, where the forgetful mother had left him.
The rest of the passengers reacted with understanding to the situation, they thanked the pilot for their responsiveness, but called on the police to punish the mother for forgetfulness. The child, according to eyewitnesses of the event, is not a suitcase and not a thing, and therefore the woman’s misconduct must be punished in accordance with the laws.
