Summer travel by train for children will be cheaper
During the summer holidays fare on trains for children and teenagers it will be cheaper - a discount of 50% of the cost of a trip on long-distance trains and fast trains will be received by all the aged guys from 10 to 17 years.
Such a gift is already traditionally made by Russian Railways.
The promotion applies only to routes inside Russiadeparting from June 1 to August 31 of this year. For international messages, the discount does not apply.
A less expensive trip in second-class carriages and common cars, in cars equipped only with seats, as well as in cars of the second and third classes of electric trains.
Already, ticket sales for half the price started at the ticket offices of railway stations, on the Russian Railways website, and you can also order and pay for tickets through the RZD Passengers mobile app.
The company automatically gives a discount as soon as the parents present a birth certificate at the cashier’s desk or provide information on the date of birth of their child via the Internet.
To board the car, the child will need birth certificate, if the child is not 14 years old, or a passport - if 14 years has already passed.
In Russia, half the fare in Russia on trains for children from 10 to 17 years old during the holidays was first introduced three years ago.
The rest of the children, who are not 10 years old, have a year-round discount of 65% (from 5 to 10 years), and for children under 5 years old are issued a cashless ticket for which you do not need to pay at all.
