This was stated by experts of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia.
Now the department is developing a draft law that will allow, after a divorce, the right to communicate with children not only for blood parents, but also for those who are not, but for a certain time raised a child.
Stepchildren and stepmothers sometimes even go to court with such lawsuits, but so far the judges cannot satisfy their demands for meetings with stepchildren and stepchildren, since children are not considered relatives, no rights to them have a stepfather or stepmother.
It is planned that the amendments will introduce the Family Code, Articles Nos. 55 and 67, and then the right to communicate with the child of the former spouse (or spouses) can be easily defended in court if there is such a desire, and the child himself will support it.
Change the Family Code in the specified parts is planned by the end of this year.
The opinion of the child will be taken into account when deciding, and if the child himself objects, communication with the stepfather or stepmother will not be allowed.
If blood parents interfere with such communication of their children, administrative response measures will be applied to them.
The draft law also includes an amendment to the Code of Administrative Offenses. For the deprivation of the right to communicate with the stepmother or stepfather, the child's blood parent may pay a fine of 3 thousand rubles, and if it is obstructed again, then already 5 thousand.
