Matkapital allowed to spend on the purchase of villas
The State Duma considered in its first reading a bill implying expansion of maternal capital.
Today, it can be spent on the mother’s retirement, on the improvement of living conditions, on the child’s education, and on the purchase of the necessary rehabilitation facilities for disabled children.
The amendment permits the certificate funds purchase a country house, a plot or pay for the construction of a country house on a garden plot.
About half of the families in Russia who have certificates of matkapital on hand, have not yet found in the proposed use of options suitable for themselves.
So the funds allocated from the state treasury to them have so far been unclaimed. Therefore, parliamentarians are looking for other options for using the certificate, it is possible that the family was waiting for the opportunity to acquire a cottage.
Cottage is not only a place of rest. Many families continue to grow potatoes, tomatoes, berries and fruits in their own plots. Especially popular are plots with large families.
