Impostors: in the Nizhny Novgorod region a masseuse without education killed the child

In the Nizhny Novgorod region in the village of Dalnee Konstantinovo a tragedy occurred.

A woman without special medical education, who presented herself as a "folk healer" during a massage. she broke the baby's cervical vertebrae. Crumbs could not be saved.

A four-month-old baby was given a neurologist's appointment at the pediatric clinic for a massage about the hypertonicity of the muscles typical of most newborns and infants. Baby parents they decided not to go to a massage therapist, they preferred to undergo a treatment course at the "folk healer", which they heard from their friends.

The healer, for a modest fee, agreed to massage the baby, promising that he would not only have the increased muscle tone disappear, but the overall development would go more harmoniously, his overall health would noticeably improve and his immunity would get stronger.

Neither a diploma confirming the presence of a medical education, nor a license for the right to engage in private medical practice, the parents did not ask the healer and entrusted her baby to her. The woman claimed that she "helps the divine gift."

On that day something went wrong, and the divine gift did not descend on the healer. As a result, she abruptly turned the head to the baby during the massage session, as a result of which the cervical vertebrae were broken and the spinal nerves were pinched.

The condition of the child worsened every minute. The kid struggled in convulsions, fainted. Parents called an ambulance. In the hospital where the child was brought, the doctors gasped - the baby was diagnosed with severe spinal cord injury.

Doctors have done everything possible to eliminate the effects of "deadly massage," but save the child, alas, failed.

Upon the death of the infant, the investigators of the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case. But even after all that happened, the "healer" with a divine gift instead of a corresponding education pleaded not guilty. She asserts that she did everything right, it was just that the child had “heavy karma” and an “individual reaction” to the treatment.

Police and professional doctors warn parents against seeking help in treating children to non-professionals, no matter how enthusiastic reviews about them may be.

In the near future the case will be transferred to the court. A woman faces a long prison term for inadvertently causing grievous bodily harm, resulting in the death of a person.
