Newborns in Russia will register automatically
Newly minted parents will no longer need to go and file documents and an application for registration of a new member of Russian society - newborns are scheduled to register automatically.
The Ministry of Economic Development of the country plans to automate the process, the experts of which have already analyzed the possibility of providing similar state services in automatic mode and have begun implementation.
Now began testing two services - registration of newborns and registration of a death certificate relative. It is understood that the innovation will save people from having to personally visit the MFC or the civil registry office in order to issue the relevant document.
For now, in order to register a newborn child, parents need to write a statement and submit a medical birth certificate from the maternity hospital, parents' passports, all this happens when you personally visit the MFC or registry office.
It is planned that the application can be submitted via the Internet, everything else will be generated and made automatically.
Parents will only be told when and where they can pick up the finished birth certificate. Recall that previously discussed the possibility of canceling paper birth documents and replacing them with electronic accounts. While this initiative is not implemented.
The Ministry of Economic Development noted that the experiment with automation will be evaluated throughout this year, and if it shows positive results, it will be decided to transfer some other public services to the automatic mode, which require people to spend a lot of time on collecting and submitting documents .
