Society kills geniuses in children

American researchers conducted a curious experiment and found that All children at birth have the makings of geniuses, but as they grow, their unique abilities "perish" when interacting with the world of adults.

According to scientists, this is affected by a weak level of education and restrictions, which in society are considered rules. The hard frames in which adults place the baby (“Don't touch the lizard!”, “You need to paint the machine wrongly, but this way!”, Etc.) do not leave room for the development of amazing individual abilities given by nature.

In the experiment, according to US media reports, one and a half thousand babies aged 4 to 5 years took part. They were offered the only logical task for which no scientific knowledge needed. Experience has shown that 96% of girls and boys found a solution on their own and did it in different ways. The leader of the experiment, Professor John Land, stated that all these children are brilliant.

Then the same puzzle was offered to adults. In the age group from 20 to 35 years only 30% coped with the taskAt the same time, adults took approximately twice as much time to solve it as to babies. The remaining 70% could not find a solution at all.

Scientists have suggested that the fault is the education system, which is aimed at developing memory, and not mental abilities. A child who, from kindergarten, is forced to learn poems and songs by heart and who then continues to learn many things by heart at school, loses the ability to think outside the box and look for unique solutions. Gradually, the brain degrades.

As a way out of this vicious circle, the authors of the experiment proposed to build education on principles that cancel mechanical learning.

At an early age, kids need to train their memory, but from 6-7 years old the main "emphasis" needs to be made on detailed work with information. This is the only way to preserve logical thinking abilities..

The results of the experiment have already interested officials from the formation of the United States. They promised to "study the issue more closely and take an adequate decision."
