"We picked up the right words": the boy who survived the fire at Winter Cherry was told that his parents had died

11 year old boy who miraculously survived the fire at the Kemerovo shopping center, and then having spent several days in intensive care, only today, a week after the tragedy, they decided to report that his mother and father, as well as his sister, had died in the fire.

Relatives prepared for this difficult conversation helped psychologists Emergency. Specialists worked for a long time with the boy’s grandmothers, found out everything about his personality, preferences, psycho-type, and only after that did they formulate what sooner or later the child would still have to find out.

The instructions on behavior during the conversation to the relatives were given personally by the main adolescent psychiatrist of Moscow, Anna Portnova.

After hearing everything, the boy burst into tears. But he did not become self-contained, he quickly enough joined in the events of today and tried to find out where and with whom he would now live. Guardianship over the orphan is now making out one of his grandmothers.

The boy received carbon monoxide poisoning, and in the fall - a bruise of the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, multiple fractures of the pelvic bones. The child spent several days in intensive care, he is now transferred to the general ward.

The tragedy occurred on March 25, 2018. In a terrible fire killed 64 people 41 of them are children.
