“First went!”: It will become much easier to get a benefit for your first child in Russia

Making the state allowance for the first child in our country will soon become much easier. The Ministry of Labor and Social Development has made significant amendments to the current legislation. They are called facilitate the process of obtaining benefits.

While the initiative is framed in the form of a bill, the document is available at federal portal regulations and is available for public comment. Any not indifferent Russian can have his say on the proposed amendments.

In particular, the bill proposes allow benefits for the first child not only at the place of residence, but also at the place of temporary registration or even actual residence. This will make life easier for families who are registered in one city and live in another.

The second amendment concerns parents previously deprived of parental rights. At birth, they have a child now, they are not entitled to payment, because it is believed that the newborn is no longer the firstborn.

Offered Do not consider children to which parental rights no longer apply. This item raises reasonable doubts, because many dysfunctional parents, previously deprived of their rights, can begin to give birth specifically to receive government support measures for which they now have no right.

The benefit for the firstborn in Russia began to pay this year.

The payout is subsistence minimum in a particular region of the country.

Families in which the first child was born after January 1, 2018 are entitled to support. A prerequisite for calculating benefits is a low level of total family income. For each family member must be less than one and a half living wages per month. The allowance is paid until the child reaches one and a half years.
