Public organization "Violence. Net" launched a unique project for our country - video course for victims of violence.
So far, nine video lessons have been made and uploaded to the network. Each of them concerns one divisive theme - family violence, psychological and physical violence.
The organization's specialists - doctors, lawyers, psychologists explain briefly and understandably how to act, if you are a victim, your child is a victim.
Lessons include safety and life tips. Lawyers tell where to go, if you go in fact there is no place - the police, the crisis center, funds for assistance, etc. How to go to court, how to protect yourself from the point of view of the law.
Psychologists tell how to calm down, how to calm down a child, why a tyrant behaves in this way and whether he can behave differently.
Self-defense experts show several effective techniques that can be useful for saving lives, as well as tell where the line of self-defense and aggression against the offender.
The project was attended by experts from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, experienced lawyers, child and adult psychologists and psychotherapists, specialists from the Emergencies Ministry.
Most often, victims of domestic and other violence are childrenand therefore the most detailed video lesson was dedicated to this very issue.
It readily describes where the child can fall victim to the aggressor. Be sure to watch this lesson with your child.. It is good, if the received knowledge should not be applied in practice. But to know it is necessary.
