In Russia, the list of diseases has been expanded to establish perpetual disability
The head of the cabinet of ministers of the Russian Federation, Dmitry Medvedev, signed a document that changes disability rules.
The list of pathologies, conditions and diseases for which disability can be given indefinitely and in absentia is significantly increased.
It is understood that the parents of a child with such diseases will not need to walk for long periods in the classrooms and annual confirmation of the diagnosis. Already at the first examination disability can be given for life.
A lot of complaints were received from parents of children with disabilities, moms and dads complained about the imperfection of the existing system.
It was decided to include all pathologies and anomalies of chromosomal origin, cirrhosis, blindness, deafness and cerebral palsy (Cerebral palsy).
Simplified the examination procedure for children with scoliosis, defects of the structure of the maxillofacial area, for children with autism and diabetes.
According to Deputy Prime Minister Olga Golodets, today the revised and amended document affects the interests of at least 12 million Russians, 651 thousand of them are children and teenagers.
