In Vladivostok, they began a bold experiment with equipping kindergartens with cameras and video surveillance systems. These systems will allow parents using the mobile phone at any time, log in and see what the child is doing and how he behaves.

If before the camera was installed mainly for the protection to see if everything is in order in the building, now it is a great way of parental control.

Nannies and caregivers have become more responsible, they understand that parents can observe what is happening at any time via the Internet. The children themselves also behave much more disciplined than before, because they were also told that mom and dad see everything. The parents themselves have become calmer.

The management of education in Vladivostok noted that the experience was recognized to be quite successful. So far, there are cameras in the top ten pre-school educational institutions, but soon they plan to equip the rest of the Primorye capital’s kindergartens.

Creating free video monitoring of a child and his stay in a preschool institution is a good practice that helps not only to quickly resolve emerging issues, but also to prevent conflict situations.

Now it remains to decide where to get funding for the project. For the time being, it is assumed that equipping the gardens with cameras and connecting them to a single system should be jointly funded by the region and the federal budget.
