Parents want to prohibit withholding information about the health of the child
Russian moms and dads want legislation obligate to transfer information about the state of health of their children, about existing diseases and problems of employees of schools and kindergartens. Today, every mother, father, adoptive parents and guardians have every right to keep silent about the diagnoses of the children, if they do not want outsiders to know about it.
The corresponding bill was discussed at a meeting of the relevant committee on the protection of the health of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.
It is assumed that the disclosure of this information is necessary in order for the child to create the correct and optimal conditions for study, so that an individual plan for physical activity and rest is developed.
Today there are often tragic events associated with the death of children in physical education classes, with the occurrence of disabling diseases due to educational loads and extra-curricular employment of the child. Experts believe that there will be fewer such cases if the teaching staff and the school doctor have the full amount of necessary information about the health status of this or that student or kindergarten pupil.
The bill is planned to be adopted in plenary session already during this spring parliamentary session. It should become one of the structural documents of the School Medicine program, which the Ministry of Health, the Government and the Ministry of Science and Education are currently implementing. For withholding parents of information and illness of the child administrative liability can be entered.
