In Russia, they calculated how much moms and dads are willing to spend on the additional education of their children for the academic year. On average in the country, the amount was 25 thousand rubles for the nine months of the school year.
Simple calculations have shown that the average Russian family, despite the fall in income and rising prices, continues to invest in the child’s future, in its harmonious development. The amount that such a family spends each month for this purpose is 2756 rubles.
It is expected that in this academic year the prices for classes in circles, sections and music schools will remain at the level of the last academic year, if there is growth, only in inflation limits - no more than 8%.
The most expensive are the sports sections. In addition to paying for workouts, parents take upon themselves the obligation to buy the necessary sports equipment for the child, pay for trips to competitions and tournaments, accommodation, meals for children on trips.
Among all types of children's sports, according to Rosstat, the most expensive are in hockey schools, in tennis sections, in rhythmic gymnastics and figure skating sections.
Music schools, art studios, vocal studios cost their parents a little less, but here, too, it all depends on how expensive the paints and materials for creative work parents will buy for their child.
From September 1, in a number of regions, as an experiment, it is planned to introduce certificates for additional education.
Parents and children will be able to determine themselves which trainer or music teacher to go to.
Teachers who will enjoy the greatest love of students and their parents will be able to receive a higher salary. Part of the parent costs for sections and circles will be redeemed by means of the certificate.
According to a sociological and economic survey, in Moscow and Vladivostok, the most expensive additional education is where parents spend about 7,000 rubles a month on extracurricular activities for children. The most inexpensive sections and schools of additional children's education are in Mordovia and Saratov. The expenses of parents in these regions are at the level of 2000 rubles per month.
