In Russia, it is proposed to extend parental leave from three years to an indefinite period
Experts of the All-Russian Popular Front (ONF) have proposed that women continue to take parental leave for women.
At the same time they offer to make it payable. Longer leave should count women whose children there was no place in kindergarten.
The mechanism is offered quite simple: the child turns three years old, the mother goes to the kindergarten at the place of residence, receives a refusal in the absence of places, the refusal is supported by a certificate. Help the woman brings to the place of work and gets additional paid vacation.
The proposal was sent to the Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova. It is planned that the initiatives will be included in the national project "Demography", which is being developed in accordance with the "May decree" of President Vladimir Putin.
The labor code of the Russian Federation today guarantees mom or dad leave for childcare up to 3 years. The first one and a half years is paid in the amount of 40% of the earnings of the parent, the second one and a half years each month compensation of 50 rubles begins.
Benefit from one and a half to three years from 50 rubles to 7-9 thousand rubles proposed to raise the Ministry of Labor. This question is currently being worked out. It remains to determine the timing of a vacation.
Today, 272,000 children in the whole country are waiting for their turn in kindergartens.
