In Russia, they propose to introduce Harry Potter books into the school curriculum.

Books about novice wizard Harry Potter must necessarily include in the school curriculum and study in the school.

This was stated by a children's writer Andrei Usachev - the author of "Total dictation" in 2018. He substantiated his statement by the fact that the writer J. Rowling was very apt. got into the essence of the worldview of modern children, because their dreams are much bigger than real opportunities.

The writer addressed the representatives of the Ministry of Education of the country during the broadcast on the radio station "Moscow Says".

Andrey Usachev urged officials to understand and respect a dream that is quite normal for children - become wizards, wizards and all-powerful magicians.

In addition, the works of Rowling, according to Usachev, are well and interestingly written, and therefore may well qualify for universal study in school.

It should be noted that this idea arises not the first time.

Two years ago, Vladimir Petrov, a deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Leningrad Region, came out with the same proposal to the public. He insisted that Harry Potter deserve to be part of the literature curriculum in middle and high school.

But then members of the Writers' Union of Russia opposed the idea. They explained that it would be more useful for schoolchildren to study Russian classics, and not fictional stories about a boy with a magic wand.

Now, the idea of the writer Usachev has already found support, however, so far only among the children themselves and their parents, who have spoken in social networks about the fact that they are very fond of the prospect of studying Rowling's work.

Officials of the Ministry of Education still remain silent.
