Russia has banned the use of the vaccine, which affected 190 children

The decision of the expert council of Roszdravravnadzor in Russia use of Encevir Neo vaccine suspended. The drug is produced by the Tomsk company Microgen. The vaccine is widespread in connection with the general vaccination of schoolchildren from tick-borne encephalitis.

The supervisory authority was forced to make such a decision and start testing the drug, because the frequency of negative consequences and reactions to this vaccine was twice as high as all acceptable medical standards. The manufacturer in the instructions provided, according to experts, false information about the frequency of side effects, citing deliberately underestimated data.

To date, all samples of the T101 series, which this year have been received for the vaccination of schoolchildren, have been withdrawn and sent for examination to the capital laboratory of Roszdravnadzor.

Over the course of 40 days, it is planned to conduct a series of tests that will help to understand why so often children feel bad after vaccination with Entsevir Neo. At the time of testing the use of the drug in the country is strictly prohibited.

The first reports of mass inadequate reactions to the vaccine began to arrive in October. In Perm, at once two dozen first-graders from one school became ill after vaccinations - headaches appeared, severe weakness, the temperature rose to 40.0 degrees. Later, reports of similar or similar complications were received from other Russian schools.

To date more than 190 children were affected. It was found that they all received a dose of the vaccine "Entsevir Neo".
