Russian actress Irina Usok arrested in the US for kidnapping a child
In the United States arrested the Russian actress Irina Usok. 42 year old woman accused of stealing their own child.
The detention was carried out at Kennedy Airport in New York. Irina tried to take her child to Russia, whose father is an American. By American standards, Irina Usok committed a serious crime, she faces up to 15 years in prison.
Foreign Ministry officials are already aware of what happened, and now Russian diplomats are trying to provide Usok with the necessary assistance.
Irina is from Taganrog. She studied at the Nemirovich-Danchenko Studio School at the Chekhov Moscow Art Theater. She is known for her work in the Taganka Theater, as well as her roles in the TV series “Prosecutor’s Office”, “Children of Vanyukhin”, “Tourists”, “Dasha Vasilyeva”.
The first court session after the arrest has already passed, Irina was released, but was banned from leaving the country for the time of the investigation.
Daughters Usok is not yet three years old. The girl was temporarily transferred to the guardianship authorities, banning the actress until the court sentence approach your own child. The father of a 40-year-old Richard Beetty's girlfriend in the United States is not. The arrest was made on his application to the police.
With Richard, the beautiful Russian woman met 3.5 years ago. A beautiful affair quickly led to pregnancy, daughter Nicole was born, who is a US citizen on her passport.
Richard is famous for his mysterious and dubious past - he went to jail for drug trafficking, but was released on bail. Man first did not want a child and asked Irina to have an abortion. But Usok refused. After the birth of a daughter, the relationship with Richard finally deteriorated, and the woman with Nicole left for Russia.
The little girl accompanied her mother almost everywhere - she visited her theater rehearsals, went with her to make films. But the situation demanded a return to the US to settle some business matters. Officially, Irina is not married to Richard, which did not prevent the man from telling the police that Irina had abducted their child. The guards did not bother even the fact that Richard's name in the corresponding column of the birth certificate Nicole did not appear at all.
After the detention, Irina was forced to give written evidence that the father of her child was a US citizen.
Now Russian diplomats have helped Irina with legal support, she has been provided with a lawyer. The main court hearing will be held March 20 in New Jersey.
