Russian parents will now be able to rest with children in sanatoriums at the expense of employers
In the coming year, another useful and pleasant innovation awaits Russian parents and their children - an opportunity to relax on vacation in a sanatorium and resort within the home country at the expense of employers.
Since January 1, 2019, amendments to the current legislation have come into force, which recommend to fiscal authorities to take into account funds that large taxpayers (heads of enterprises and organizations) spent on the purchase of vouchers for employees and their family members when calculating the income tax base.
Employers, thus, will be able to ease the tax burden on their businesses, and employees will be able to reimburse the cost of holidays with children on vacation.
On foreign holidays and trips to the CIS, however, the new rules do not apply. There still have to buy permits and tickets at their own expense. But resorts and resorts within Russia will become more accessible.
The ability to receive compensation for holidays in Russia from the head will be given to working Russians, their lawful spouses, as well as parents and children. Important condition: the child at the time of purchase of the permit must be less than 18 years old, or up to 24 years old - if the child is studying on a full-time university budget. The number of children is not limited.
Another important condition: the costs should not exceed the amount of 50 thousand rubles per person.
Reducing the tax burden for enterprises of all levels and forms is a very profitable offer, and therefore, experts of the National Union of Tourism Industry, the motivation for the directors is excellent. By sending staff with families to rest at the expense of the enterprise, you can get several important advantages at once: happy and rested workers, family, tax cuts and a good professional reputation.
So far, according to preliminary estimates by experts, in no less than a million people will be able to rest in 2019, about 200 thousand employers in the country have already expressed their desire to take part in this practice. Thus, it is gradually planned to restore the practice of affordable holidays, compensated in many respects by the enterprise on which the person works.
