Russian couple was detained in Malaysia for juggling a baby

Kuala Lumpur police officers (Malaysia) detained a Russian couple for unacceptable treatment of a child. Russians Mikhail Bondaruk and Yekaterina Shikhmanova juggled their own baby to the public on a Malaysian street. The detainees themselves insist that they did nothing criminal they just practiced dynamic gymnastics with their children, to which the baby is accustomed from the first days of her life.

But the arguments of a pair of police did not convince. They are accused of actions that could lead to serious consequences for the child, and now Mikhail and Catherine are facing a substantial fine or ten years in prison.

The detention followed after a video appeared on Facebook in which Russians demonstrate dynamic baby yoga on the street in action: a man swings a four-month-old child, holding his leg, throws a crumb into the air under the indignant cheers of passers-by. The video was published by one of the eyewitnesses of this spectacle. He was indignant and urged the authorities to take measures to stop "irresponsible actions" against the child.

Frames quickly became popular, and when the video gained more than 12,000 views, Facebook “matured” to supplement the video with a warning that it might contain scenes of violence against a child.

It took a little more than a day after publication and the Malaysian police responded to the public outcry. Russians found, found and arrested. In this case, the detention was carried out not somewhere, but again on the street, where the mom and dad of the baby again had a street performance. It is assumed that so they earned.

It is known that this family is very unusual: Mikhail and Catherine travel around Asia, do yoga, eat only fruit, always go barefoot, do not use drugs. A man is engaged in music, his wife is an artist. Traveling in Asian countries, a Russian couple gives street concerts, tells Russian fairy tales. With the birth of their daughter, the Russians decided to expand their repertoire and introduced acrobatic performances into the program of performances, especially since the child is no stranger to flying - they are engaged in dynamic yoga with her from birth.

In the Malaysian embassy in Russia, so far no comment on the situation. The only thing the diplomats managed to achieve was the release of the couple on bail. Now, Mikhail and Catherine are waiting for the court and deportation to their homeland, their Asian voyage, apparently, is over.
