Schoolchildren at the literature contest were given a task with obscene language
Loud scandal broke out in Kazan, where for analysis and analysis children were offered a text that was rich in obscene language. Everything happened at the stage of the All-Russian Literature Olympiad. The stage was attended by students of 10th grade.
One of the tasks for the students included a fragment of the story of the modern writer Alexei Slapovsky "The Stradivarius Violin".
The author himself, having learned about the scandal erupted, said that he had no idea about the inclusion of his work in school tests. If the officials from the education had asked his opinion before giving such tasks to the children, Alexey confessed, he would not recommend his own works to children of school age.
The parents of schoolchildren learned about the incident after the guys wrote all the tasks of the Olympians.
They immediately appealed to the Ministry of Education of the Republic.
Officials only threw up their hands - this work was chosen and approved by an expert commission. After parents from other municipalities of Tatarstan also complained about the scolding task, the scandalous text decided to replace the classic literature.
All schools received an e-mail assignment on the day of the Olympiad.
The teachers on the ground did not even bother to look at the options that were distributed to the children for implementation.
The members of the expert committee, which included eminent teachers, argue that "it was just a bad choice".
In the State Duma, Russia quickly responded to the situation. First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Education and Science Gennady Onishchenko said that field teachers "have reached the point of no return". He urged to strictly punish all those who were involved in the selection of tasks for schoolchildren.
He stressed that the personnel issue now, more than ever, is acutely building up before the education system. In Russian schools and in the Ministries of Education there are people whose own level of education is raises many questions.
At the same time, pedagogical specialties in universities today are not very popular among applicants, and therefore the country may soon face a chronic shortage of good teachers.
