In the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia decided with the minimum cost of a gift for newbornswhich, from January 2018, will be received by all new mothers still in the maternity hospital.
The Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov said that the gift will be worth not less than 10 thousand rubles.
The money will be allocated from the federal budget with regional subsidies, and therefore the set in a gift box in different regions may differ slightly.
It is known for sure that children's goods of domestic production will be put in the box - a blanket, vests and sliders, diaper sets, a set of baby bedding, leisure overalls (according to the season), hats, and caps.
Also, without fail, hygiene items such as baby cream, massage oil, baby soap, diapers, wet wipes for infants will be included in the gift set.
Nipples, pacifiers, baby bottles, rattles and other toys can also be added.
The largest set so far in Moscow - 42 items. Newly mothers of the capital receive a gift from last fall. In Ufa, the gift consists of 23 items, and in St. Petersburg - out of 34.
So far, only some regions have been participating in the state program “Gift for a Newborn” in experimental mode, but from January next year all newborn Russians will receive gifts, regardless of region of residence.
The program is designed to help not only the parents of the newborn, but also manufacturers of children's goods, toys, clothes. Under the contracts that the Ministry of Industry and Trade concluded with the factories, they received orders for several years in advance.
