Slow death: cell towers will be forbidden to install near schools and kindergartens
A federal target program for ensuring electromagnetic safety is being formed in Russia.
That she will make some adjustments in things and actions that are familiar to us. So, children and teenagers limit the time of use of cell phones and smartphones, and base stations (towers) will be forbidden to locate in the immediate vicinity of the places of residence of children - schools and kindergartens.
The corresponding document is developed in the Federation Council.
Experts say that electromagnetic radiation from cell phones and cell phone towers severely harms child health.
The children's organism, according to the results of studies conducted in Russia, receives and absorbs electromagnetic energy almost one and a half times morethan the body of an adult.
The presence of a cell phone even in preschool children already makes itself felt - more and more often children suffer from memory impairment even in elementary school, they get tired quickly, their ability to learn decreases, the number of mental disorders in children has increased.
The level of pediatric oncological diseases is also growing.
Despite the fact that the harm is obvious, no attempts have been made to limit the use of cellular in Russia.
Today, according to statistics, the number of mobile phone users is 178% of the population.
At the end of March 2018, members of the Council of the Federation began to develop a targeted state program, which help protect children from the damaging effects of electromagnetic radiation.
Leading doctors and engineers of cellular campaigns work together with them on the program.
The question of installing communication towers today is decided by the operators themselves. There are no documents that would indicate to them where it is possible, and where it is impossible to put the base station.
The task of the state at this stage is to create a regulatory framework that significantly limit the scope of operators.
Today, the towers can be found in parks and forest park areas, near hospitals, kindergartens and schools. Electromagnetic radiation, the measurement of which was given special attention in the USSR, is now no one measures or controls.
It is planned that the Rospotrebnadzor will monitor compliance with the ban on installing communication towers in places where there are children.
By the end of the year, experts say, not only the program of federal significance will be ready, but also the federal law, which will establish responsibility for violations of the program for telecom operators.
