The size of the parent capital in Russia will change.
It was decided to "defrost" and index. From January 1, 2020 the payment will increase from the current 453 thousand 26 rubles to 470 thousand 241 rubles. The increase will be more than 17 thousand rubles.

Growth will not stop at this increase, and in a year, in 2021, the size of the matkapital will be 489 thousand 51 rubles.
The increase is calculated from the projected inflation rate. Experts of the Ministry of Economic Development predict its growth - from 3.8% in 2020 to 4% in 2021.
In 2016, the Government of Russia made a decision to “freeze” the size of the capital due to the difficult economic situation in the country.
Matkapital was introduced in 2007. The certificate is given to the family in which the second or subsequent child appears, either own or adopted.
Today, the scope of the certificate provides for his referral to the child’s education, to the mother’s retirement, to the improvement of the housing issue, as well as to the purchase of the necessary means of rehabilitation for disabled children.
It is planned to expand the scope of matkapital use - the State Duma is considering a law on the possibility of buying or building with the funds of a matkapital cottage and a land plot for personal subsidiary farming.
