Scientists have learned to detect autism in children through baby teeth

The state of milk teeth and even their rudiments will allow determining the predisposition of a child. to autism immediately after birth or even before birth.

An international group of scientists and doctors drew attention to the fact that in all children with autism spectrum disorders, the transformation of certain substances was disturbed.

So in the body of autistic children misappropriated copper and zinc.

You can fix the problem by the structure of milk teeth.

It, by analogy with a tree, has “annual rings” - layers that can indicate which substances prevailed at what point of fetal or neonatal development in the body.

The study involved scientists from the United States, Britain and Sweden.

They investigated the structure of the layers of milk teeth of 200 pairs of twins. Then the results were compared with similar indicators of other children who are not relatives of each other.

Realizing that in autistic children, zinc and copper in the enamel layer are deposited differently, the scientists were able to develop an algorithm that with 90% accuracy determines risk of developing autism at a very early stage of development.

Of course, no frustration will be diagnosed in baby teeth, because too much time passes before the moment when such teeth begin to fall out. But doctors understood the pattern of metabolism, and this will allow the development of biochemical analyzes that show the risk of autism.

The sooner a problem can be detected, the more chances there will be successful rehabilitation of a child with autism spectrum disorders to normal life.
