Scientists have found that young children and chimpanzees speak the same language

Small children in contact with the big world use the same set of gestures as adult human-like monkeys.

European psychologists conducted a study that showed that children under 4 years old know and use about 52 gestures. 46 of them coincide with the gestures of adult chimpanzees.

In their interaction with their own kind, monkeys use gestures, postures, and grimaces. At the same time, the “dictionary” of animals and human children is more than 90% identical.

A joint group of scientists from Germany and the UK conducted a study based on the kindergartens of Uganda and Germany.

At first, children's games and activities were filmed, and then the frames were analyzed and compared with video clips of chimpanzee communication with each other. If the shooting of children's games took several months, then the monkeys in their natural environment, in the forests of Uganda, had to shoot for ten years.

The study is presented in a number of scientific journals, but it is not yet clear what practical benefits it has and how it can be useful to mankind. While the data is secretly included in the category of curious facts about nature.
