Scientists from Rutgers University USA called the main danger of insufficient sleep in children. They conducted a study that showed that a child who does not chronically sleep, risks to get a lot of health problems.

In the scientific experiment involved 177 thousand children, who are from 8 to 17 years old. Lack of sleep was considered a dream that was less than 9 hours for children under 12 years old, less than 8 hours - for teenagers.

About 40% of all children, according to scientists, sleep too little, do not gain this norm.

As a result, children who do not get enough risk to acquire a lot of bad habits: they often refuse breakfast and everything that is useful, and love fast food and sweets, they do not like physical exertion and increasingly prefer sedentary activities. As a result, children with chronic sleep deprivation often have problems with overweight.

The results of the study were complemented by scientists from Harvard, who proved that sleep deprivation causes mental problems in adolescence. Anxiety increases, a tendency to depression appears, attacks of uncontrollable aggression can occur.
