The Investigation Committee of the Sverdlovsk region checks the information that representatives of the guardianship and custody received money from adoptive parents.
In order to give them a child, the officials asked for 80 thousand rubles. For this amount they promised all possible assistance and speeding up the process of the paperwork for the adopted child.
Investigators argue that in addition to the fact of extortion, they will also verify that the guardianship officers cashed moneypaid by the state to orphans and about the sale of apartmentsthat orphans rely on in accordance with the law.
The testimony was already given by the employees of the child’s home, where they send babies between the ages of 0 and 4, who were abandoned by their parents.
The Commissioner for Children's Rights of the Sverdlovsk Region is preparing an information note on how many such complaints have been received lately.
Information about bribes in the department of custody and guardianship, the sale of orphans and the cashing of their money appeared in the local media, it was quickly “picked up” on the Internet.
If the facts are confirmed, it will be initiated criminal case.
