Professional families will appear in Russia

In Russia, it is planned to introduce a new experience - there will be professional families for the education of children for whom there are no adoptive candidates.

Professional parents will take in their families children from orphanages and orphanages under a temporary contract. They will not be able to choose a particular child; the state will send children to such families at its own discretion.

Mostly potential adoptive parents are absent on children with difficult diagnoses, on complex adolescents. They are the ones who need family living, but do not have such an opportunity. Today in orphanages is about 73 thousand of these guys.

The Institute of Professional Foster Families is a practice that exists in Europe, and now the possibility of creating the same Russian families is being discussed in the Ministry of Science and Education of Russia. Such an instruction was given by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Government, Tatyana Golikova.

It is assumed that the family does not have to be complete - either one parent or a couple can raise orphans. Their work under the contract will be well paid, because the contract does not imply holidays or weekends.

Corresponding corrections will need to be made in the Labor Code, as long as this document does not contain such a labor regime.

The extent to which professional adoptive parents will receive a salary is not reported yet, this issue is still being approved by the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Labor.

To become a professional family, you will need a written application, after which potential professional parents will be rigorously tested - experts will assess housing conditions, psychological characteristics of candidates, their characteristics.
