In Russia, proposed to change the family law
The Federation Council prepared a whole package of draft laws on changing family legislation. They must touch nine federal laws and make adjustments to the three codes. To date, the package of documents has been finalized and is ready for submission to the State Duma for consideration.
Changes are planned to make, in particular, in those regulations that relate to the protection of the rights of minor children.
It is also planned to tighten and specify the rules for removing children from the family if the child is in a dangerous situation. The new package of documents involves the introduction of punishment for employees of guardianship and guardianship for inaction, as well as for the too hasty removal of children without first establishing all the circumstances, since this is considered a last resort, and employees of guardianship bodies must take it motivatedly and reasonably.
It is planned to submit proposals to parliamentarians for consideration at the end of March.
