In Tomsk, doctors saved a child who swallowed a 15-centimeter spoon

The life of a five-year-old boy in Tomsk is now safe.

Doctors of the Emergency Hospital No. 2 managed to extract the baby from the esophagus 15-centimeter spoon of silicone.

The parents of the child noticed that the child began to choke and lose consciousness.

They called an ambulance. Under the supervision of an anesthesiologist-resuscitator, the baby was taken to hospital. On the way, he had to supply oxygen through a mask and monitor his heartbeat.

In the emergency room, the specialists noted that the baby is still alive only thanks to the professional actions of the ambulance doctors.

Doctors managed to remove the silicone spoon from the esophagus, without resorting to surgery, although the chances of success of this venture were not so great.

Now the child is in intensive care, he breathes on his own, soon the young "spoon-eater" will be transferred to the general therapeutic department, and after a few days they will be allowed to go home.

Parents claim that they will now more closely monitor what the baby does.
