Everything will be fine: the doctors managed to save the baby’s leg in Magnitogorsk

The whole country has been following closely for several days now how is the baby getting better, who was found under the rubble of the house in Magnitogorsk. The 10-month-old crumb spent in the frost under the rubble of the building for over 36 hours and was miraculously discovered by lifeguards.

Today, experts at the Ministry of Health stated that the doctors managed to do the almost impossible: they rescued the frozen leg of the child, were able to restore blood circulation in the limbs, and this means that the danger has passed, the amputation of the leg will not be necessary, and quite soon the crumb will learn to walk on its own two feet.

During the last week, doctors almost daily told the Russians about the condition of the rescued baby. It remained heavy, but stable. Scarce came to his senses, he gradually began to transfer from the probe to independent feeding. But here the issue with the leg to the last remained the most difficult, even the most experienced doctors refused to predict anything.

The child was brought to intensive care with a closed head injury, fractures, significant frostbite of the extremities, impaired kidney function, systemic hypothermia and severe dehydration.

Killed 39 people. Little Vanya Fokin was saved by the fact that the crib in which he slept covered the door from the closet. Despite the minus 27 degrees outside, the child was able to survive for one and a half days and waited for help.

Russians took the story of the baby very close to their hearts. For Vanya prayed in all churches and mosques of the country, the best doctors offered their help, and the sculptors decided to immortalize the crib, in which rescuers found Vanya, in a memorial ensemble, which is planned to be installed at the site of the house collapse in memory of the victims.

Sculptors offered to portray 39 birds flying away from the rift and one cot with the baby in the center of the composition.
