Parents note: in WhatsApp, a new game of "death" for children

In the popular messenger WhatsApp there is a new game for children and teenagers, which is a serious danger to the life and mental health of the players. First reported by the Mexican authorities. The authorities of other countries immediately joined their alarm.

New game called Momo.

The bottom line is that someone from the network, who is the curator of the child, sends him scary pictures of blood, violence, murder, bullying. The teenager is invited to choose any of the demonstrated methods to harm a friend or yourself.

If he refuses, threats begin to come.

Psychologists are confident - in a state of virtual threats the child feels vulnerable and in real life, sleep is disturbed, phobic behavior develops, he can “break down” at any moment and do what the curator asks - to kill a friend, make fun of a neighbor or end himself.

Cybersecurity experts from different countries, having studied the rules of the new game, came to the conclusion that they are almost identical to the network game "Blue Whale"which claimed dozens of children's lives, not only in Russia, but also in other countries of the world.

Only in Russia, "Blue Whale" pushed more than 15 teenagers to commit suicide.

In Argentina, the new game has already begun to collect its bloody statistics. Because of Momo, a 12-year-old girl has recently committed suicide. In Mexico City, killed 2 teenagers - a boy.

The game is spreading rapidly. Experts recommend parents whose children have WhatsApp installed in smartphones to check the child’s contacts in the last month. Approximately in July, curators in different languages began to “recruit” young adepts around the world.
