South Korean schools banned caffeine

Since September 14 of this year, the strictest is introduced in all schools of Korea ban on the sale of any products with caffeine content.

First of all it concerns coffee machines. The ban is envisaged by the amendments that the local authorities introduced to the republican law "On the safety of children's nutrition".

Korean physicians have warned more than once about the dangers of caffeine, and the unofficial ban on coffee in children's and educational institutions is already in effect, although coffee machines from schools have not yet been removed.

Initially, they were intended solely for teachers, adult visitors and school workers, but access to the devices is not monitored, and therefore children consume drinks with caffeine.

By September 14, all devices will be removed from the corridors of schools. The authorities advised adult consumers of coffee to get coffee makers that will stand in the teachers' working rooms, and to which the children will not have access.

Korean doctors and officials of the Ministry of Health rely on the results of the latest study, which revealed that coffee harms the children's body - children who drink the drink, sleep less, they have increased nervous irritability, they learn less, it’s harder to concentrate on the learning process.

30% of children coffee lovers discovered problems with the cardiovascular system, in 45% of children who drank coffee for about a year every day, serious endocrine disorders were detected.
